What We Do

Our programs and impact areas

Territorial Approach

Over the years, Mada's team has effectively managed to establish a solid foothold in the North of Lebanon and to trigger coordination among the primary local actors involved in development, both institutions and individuals. Our work spans three core pillars:

Food & Agriculture

Mada supports sustainable agriculture practices and food security initiatives in Akkar and the surrounding regions, working with local farmers and communities to improve livelihoods and ensure access to nutritious food.

Youth & Women

Through targeted programs, Mada empowers young people and women, providing them with skills, resources, and opportunities to actively participate in their communities' development and decision-making processes.

Environmental Protection

Mada works on the protection and valorization of natural resources, promoting a balance between socio-economic development and environmental conservation. This includes ongoing efforts toward the establishment of a Nature Park in the Akkar-Hermel-Donnieh area.

Our Approach

Mada adopts a territorial approach to development, working closely with local authorities, civil society organizations, and community members to create sustainable change. This approach ensures that interventions are context-specific and responsive to the evolving needs of the communities we serve.
